All AUCTIONS BEGIN AND END IN THE EASTERN TIME ZONE.

Please remember there can be multiple albums under construction at one time so make sure to check the dates and be in the current active album.

Photos can be found by clicking "Photos" at the top, then click on "Albums" and click on the "Auction Album" to open the photos. If you see an item you like, click on that photo and place your bid in the comment section. Make sure to look at the starting bid. If someone has already placed a bid, you can raise the bid by dollar amounts. Bidding dates will be announced clearly before start of all auctions. The person with the highest bid at the end of the auction will be announced the winner. Just because you place a bid doesn't mean you've won the item. This is an auction so the bid will increase with each person's bid. Example: First Bid is $5.00 next person bids $6.00 and so on just make sure you use whole dollar amounts, no change. Also you can access the auction album/albums through our Web Site Claracares.org, some people find this easier. Last bid placed before the auction closes will be considered the winner, but please try to keep your bids in the main thread it is easier that way for all others to follow-we understand sometimes in the excitement of bidding you just put your bid in reply, so with that being said last bid posted before closing will be considered the winning bid.

Please do not discourage others from bidding, just because you like a specific item, and do not want the bid to go up, always remember the money raised is to help support the dogs or rescues.

Our auctions are a place we want people to come, bid and enjoy. No Drama. Please be careful in the comments you make to others, each and everyone of our members is important to us. Under no circumstances do you ever remove a bid before contacting an administrator first. This creates chaos and a lot of hurt feelings.

*****Preferred payment is Pay Pal. Friends and Family only- otherwise they charge a fee. Our Pay Pal address is: ClaraCares2016@yahoo.com. If you do not have a pay pal account we would suggest opening one, it is easy and there is no charge. We also accept payment through FB messenger. We do not accept Credit Cards. All payments are due no later than noon on the Saturday after the auction closes.

***In Regards to shipping we try to keep the cost down. We have no control over the Post Office. If you Live Local. (Detroit Metropolitan Area) you can make arrangement for pick-up and that saves on shipping charges unless you have won a specialty item that was donated and will be shipped from some where else. I do my best to have most auction items on hand. That saves on shipping.

***Donations are always welcome anytime. If at all possible it is easier on me to have you ship your donations directly to me, before the auction starts, than I can combine them in one shipment for the winner, which saves both money and time.

Postage continues to go up and I am sorry I have no control over this.

Postage for special donations is set by the donor not me.

I will honor special requests for shipping to multiple addresses, but there will be an extra charge, for wrapping and postage.

There may be extra charges for long distance shipping. HOPEFULLY THIS WILL HELP SIMPLIFY THINGS FOR EVERYONE.

Extra charge for Quilts and Fleece usually cost $ 14.00 or more because of size and weight to ship.

Shipping Rates may be adjusted with out notice, if packages are large, heavy or traveling far.

Please remember there is a cost for boxes, bubble wrap, tape, etc. also that figures in to the fee.

Please remember I am not paid for my work and there are some extra expenses that are all part of the auction and Maintaining the Organization. I.E.wrapping, boxes,tape, Bank Fees, items for the albums and much more. I try to keep this all reasonable. Less expenses, more money available for the dogs.

Expectations for individual animals/rescues that we try to help are as follows:
Please try and collect donations to build the auction album.
Auctions are usually scheduled months in advance, so I find filling a box with donations and mailing it as you go a long seems to work best. I know postage/shipping can be costly. If you have a problem with paying for shipping, please let us know a head of time and we will do our best to cover the shipping for you.
I ask if possible that items be mailed to me at Clara Cares-9559 Winston, Redford, Michigan 48239. Some may ask why I would prefer most items mailed to me, that way I can combine items and save on shipping. Clara Cares pays part of that cost to keep it down for supporters.
Specialty items usually are sent directly from the donator.

There is no set amount for the focus dogs/rescues on each auction, We have no way of knowing how much money that each auction will generate nor how much the extra expenses will be, till everything is over and balanced. The more Auction items we get donated the better, the more money we will raise, and the more members that join and support our auction the bigger chance we have of making more money. Always remember our end goal is to HELP THE DOGS/ Rescues now too..ONE DOG AT A TIME.

I believe in paying it forward and hope that the rescues and owners of the animals in need will work with me in a partnership, to help collect donations and promote the auction. I can not do it alone.

JUST ANOTHER REMINDER I AM NOT PAID FOR MY TIME. I DO THIS OUT OF MY LOVE FOR HELPING ANIMALS. I AM NOT A BILL COLLECTOR, I DO NOT ENJOY BUGGING PEOPLE FOR PAYMENT, SO PLEASE I ASK YOU ALL TO KEEP THAT IN MIND. IN THE END IT IS THE ANIMALS THAT LOSE OUT WHEN PEOPLE DO NOT PAY OR BACK OUT.
