Heidi

Heidi is an 8 1/2 year old St. Bernard. She is the sweetest girl in the world. Heidi had surgery on December 28th, 2016. They had to take her eye and biopsy the tumor but she is doing well. If her biopsy comes back cancerous, she will have to undergo chemotherapy.

Max

Max aka Maximus Prime is a lab-bernard John & Kim saved from a puppy mill eleven years ago. He has had a slew of medical problems growing up. Recently he was diagnosed with Degenerative Myelopathy. His condition makes it difficult for his back end to keep up with his front end, which makes it difficult for him to walk. He stumbles, trips and falls. Max is in the process of getting fitted for his wheels and has started swim therapy.

Ruby Mae

Ruby is a St. Bernard diagnosed with Addison's disease in July 2015 when she was 16 months old. She will be on medication to treat the disease for the rest of her life. Part of the proceeds from the July auction will go towards helping Ruby with some of her medication costs.

Brutus

Brutus is a one-year-old St. Bernard. He is unable to get up from any slippery surface and is slow to get up from any other surfaces. The vet suspects a problem in his neck or spine area and needs an MRI to get an accurate diagnosis. Part of the proceeds from the July and September auctions will go towards helping Brutus.

A very special thank you to Jessica (Brutus' owner) for pledging to donate items and continue to support Clara Cares. Proceeds from a previous auction were used to help Brutus get better.

Sammy

Through the flower fundraiser and theme baskets, we were able to help Sammy with an ultrasound for his heart murmer.

Daisy

Daisy was a beautiful golden retriever. She recently crossed the rainbow bridge. Daisy was a wonderful supporter and donator to Clara Cares.

Dakota

Dakota is an 8-year-old St. Bernard. He's had nasal arteritis, a type of autoimmune disease for five years. His condition is treated with with prednisone, antibiotics and vitamins. The April auction will assist in paying for treatments.

Katie

Katie is a Saint Bernard. She was helped by Clara Cares covering emergency surgery.

Dakota

Dakota crossed the rainbow bridge on December 12th, 2017. She was a 12-year-old Great Pyrenees with neurological deficiencies in her spine and hind quarters as well as severe osteoarthritis. Clara Cares' April 2017 auction helped pay for some of her medical treatments before she passed away.

Ava & Odie

Ava (Saint Bernard) and Odie (Lab) were helped with fundraising from our Holiday Auction in November.

Floyd

Floyd is Judy Chronopoulos' fur baby. He is looking at two major surgeries for two torn ACL's. The Clara Cares February 2018 auction helped raise money for Floyd's surgeries.

Lilly

Clara Cares helped Lilly with emergency vet bills.

Princess

Princess is Rebecca Messamore's fur baby. Clara Cares raised money to help with Princess' vet bills due to pyro.

Chewbacca

Chewbacca aka Chewie is a 2 year old Australian Shepherd. He was diagnosed with idiopathic epilepsy in April 2018 and put on medication to treat his seizures. In October 2018, he had two break through seizures and was hospitalized in the emergency room overnight. He is now doing well on an increased dose of seizure medication.

Lizzy

Lizzy is a three year old mix that has faced many challenges in her short life. From being emaciated, scarred, beat, covered in fleas, testing positive for heartworm, and having intestinal worms and someone file her teeth down to the gums causing nerve damage in her face. She is also facing challenges with her heart, but things are looking more promising for her. She is currently on a combination of drugs to shrink her enlarged heart and decrease the fluid in her lungs. So far she has responded very well to the combination of drugs.

Dobby

Clara Cares helped Dobby with surgery expenses in January 2019.

Abby

Abby is a Saint Bernard. Clara Cares helped with her vet bills in May 2020.

Argo

Argo is a Siberian Husky. Clara Cares helped put money towards his vet bills in June 2020.

White Boy

White Boy was rescued at two weeks old with his brother from the yard of a drug pusher who was torturing and murdering the cats and kittens in a Bonita Springs neighborhood. White Boy has FIP (Feline Infectious Peritonitis). Clara Cares helped put money towards his expensive treatment.

Jack

Jack is an 8 year old German Shepherd who likes making people laugh, enjoys car rides, long walks, playing ball, slobbery smooches, good food, lazy afternoons laying in the sun, and of course belly rubs!

He was recently diagnosed with Spindle Cell Cancer. Clara Cares helped put money towards his cancer treatments. Continue checking the Facebook page with updates of Jack's treatment.
